Reed Stone McLean
Reed Stone McLean is an interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Norway, Maine. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Alfred University in 2018. Dealing largely in performative sculpture and dance he works with ideas of the human condition, our quest for power, our universal need to be loved, and the cyclical nature of time and human events. The natural environment and our interaction with it continues to be his greatest source of inspiration. At The Sable Project he worked to create the piece "Messenger", a three hour durational performance which seeks to examine the impact of human presence and our actions which leave us and our surroundings irrevocably changed.
