Emma Gohlke is a multimedia installation artist and writer investigating the psychology of gender, storytelling, ritual, and the power of place through manipulation of images, words, space and physical materials. Having graduated in 2013 from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a degree in sculpture, she moved to Tucson, Arizona to dabble in the farm-to-table restaurant world as a vegan pastry chef. While she delighted in producing art out of food, she found herself searching for an experience that more fully integrated her passions for sustainability, self-sufficiency, community, meaningful discourse, and creative work. She found that and more in The Sable Project. To see more of her work, check out her website.
Emma was one of the main documentarians of The Sable Project's 2014 Season.
