Ali Ellis is a painter based in Brooklyn. Their work is a representation of the relationship between nature and gender expression. This is done through abstraction and patterns, playing with fluid shapes and a sensitivity to color. Back home Ali works as a preschool teacher and will be starting school this fall for a Masters in art therapy.
